Barcode Reseller
A barcode reseller purchases barcodes in bulk to be sold for a one-off cost to individuals for use on products. The numbers they buy are now outside of GS1’s control and can be bought and sold without license fees etc. This means that they are much cheaper than other barcodes.
Warning signs of barcode resellers:
While many resellers are legitimate, some are not. Watch out for companies that: are hard to contact, cannot produce good evidence for the origin of their barcodes, sell barcodes extremely cheaply, and haven’t been established long (i.e. they could disappear at any stage).
We have been in business for over 15 years and can produce good evidence for our barcodes origin. Barcodes can be purchased here. Alternatively, you can contact us with any queries.
Barcode Sellers.org
Barcodesellers.org strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information about various barcode sales sites worldwide. With many different platforms competing for sales, the quality of barcodes offered can vary significantly.
Printing product packaging can be expensive, and if something as simple as the barcode is incorrect, it can lead to costly and time-consuming reprints or the need to apply sticky labels over the mistake. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure the barcode is done correctly from the start.
