“Why should I get my barcodes and products registered?”
Barcode registration is entirely optional. Your barcodes are ready for use as soon as you receive them. However, getting your barcode registered will raise the profile of your product on the internet. Customers can look your product up from the barcode number and see product and company information. You can even include a photo of your product and contact details for your company.
Consumers can scan barcodes for detailed product information, including origin, ingredients, and safety certifications. Registered barcodes can help verify product authenticity, increase sales and reduce the risk of counterfeiting.
