Egoli Distillery is a South African manufacturer of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Egoli Distillery has a distribution division that distributes products manufactured by other companies across and outside South Africa.

Founded in November 2019 by master distiller JB Maina, Egoli Distillery began its journey with 15 months of dedicated research, experimentation, and product development. Its team of distillers devoted extensive time to studying traditional African brewing and distilling methods, ensuring each product reflects authentic craftsmanship and heritage.

To source the finest ingredients, Egoli’s craftsmen and botanists traveled across several African countries, personally selecting high-quality botanicals and grains. These key components originate from South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, Congo, Tanzania, and Madagascar, forming the foundation of the distillery’s distinctive and regionally inspired beverages.

The botanicals in their gin are carefully chosen from a few counties across Africa. From the heat of Morocco to the flavors of East Africa. They use up to 30 botanicals to create the finest gin possible using the highest quality raw ingredients.

They are constantly testing, experimenting, and sharpening our exceptional recipes in their custom-built distillery. The spirits are conceptualized by their master distiller. Their team work vigorously to guarantee that perfection is accomplished in every batch. All Egoli spirits are distilled on-site, each batch is handcrafted and hand packed.
